Youth Instructors  

We have a great kid's program here at Front Range BJJ/GJ Judo for children ages 5 and up.  Grace Jividen Sensei, 6th degree black belt in Judo and former Olympic competitor heads up our youth Judo program.  Jividen Sensei has a long history of working with children in the martial arts and excels at producing well developed, confident and respectful children/young adults.   

Coach Andres Hermida Heads our BJJ youth program.  Below is a brief bio of Coach Hermida:

"Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Andres started competing in judo at the age of 7. After dedicating himself to Enduro Racing in the Dominican Republic, Andres rediscovered his passion for martial arts at Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, Florida. There he started the Eckerd College Judo Club with instructors Gediminas Palkanis and Robert Cockey whom he got his brown belt from. Upon graduation with a degree in International Business, Marketing, and Management Andres moved to Colorado in order to dedicate himself to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo."

Coach Hermida has an accomplished history both as an instructor of children and as a Judo and BJJ competitor.
